Every effort is made to record your very special day on tape or DVD.
Only quality videographic material and equipment is used with an experienced operator to
produce
memories you will always treasure.
AT HOME
Every minute counts as we have to return to meet the Vicar for his
instructions, set up and prepare
positions at the church for your arrival, and parking is nearly always a problem.
However if time permits and everyone is ready sooner the Bridesmaids departure, and those last
moments with
family and friends always enhances this part of the video.
AT CHURCH
Good timing from home and no delays enables us to capture the arrival of some of your guests,
shots of the bridesmaids, Best Man and Bridegroom then sets the scene at the church.
Your arrival and last photo calls are also
recorded, as we build up towards your final steps to the Altar.
VIDEO PERMISSION & LICENSE
Please note most Churches require you to pay a token charge for a
video in church, you may also be
required to fill a Music Copyright
form.
Even when
permission has
been obtained
we can only
record the
service from
whatever
position has
been granted to
us, we have to
abide by his
instructions.
FLOWERS
Flowers look
lovely in church
and much effort
is made by
people to
compliment your
special day,
Do however
arrange not to
have them
placed in front of
a video camera
position.
REGISTRY &
DEPARTURE
With permission
we will video the
registry of your
marriage and
wedding march
down the aisle.
Your church
sometimes will
not allow the
signing of the
registry
recorded live;
this is then
taken
when your
photographer is
allowed to set it
up.
Photo calls are
recorded closely
to the positions
selected by your
photographer;
we only leave
when
you finally
depart in your
wedding vehicle.
RECEPTION
If your driver is
thoughtful ask
him to take you
by a longer
route, the
additional time
will enable your
guests and
photographers
to be waiting for
your arrival at
the reception,
where your
friends can have
a last
opportunity to
greet you, Rally
Wedding car
drivers do
nothing for your
photo
memories.
The line up,
greeting of
guests,
speeches, and
actual cutting of
the cake is all
recorded.
Completion is
usually when
you eventually
mingle with
individual guests
followed by
departure.
BEST MAN
This man has a
lot to do on the
day, but can be
of great help to
photographers
and
cameraman.If
possible he
could assist, by
cueing at church
gates before
throwing money
to children, to
cut free
a ribbon gate, or
before a novelty
effect, and
finally before the
speeches
commence.
VIDEO & DVD
COPIES
Music of your
choice can be
used on your
video, or DVD
but should be
supplied earlier
by yourselves,
up to 10 tunes
in the form of
CDs or good
transferred
recording to a
HIFI tape, are
required,
preferences
for first and last
tunes should be
mentioned.
EXPENSES
There is no
charge for fuel if
the Wedding
and Reception
are 40 miles or
less from
Richmond
Market Place,
however for any
additional
mileage a
charge of 30p
per mile will be
made to the final
account.
PHOTO/SLIDES
We mention this
service as most
brides or
parents ask if it
is possible to
add photos of he
Bride & Groom
as an Intro to
the Video, this s
still very
popular, but
photos should
be made
available to us
well before the
Wedding date,
so that the
material can be
prepared.
Five Photos of
each, from an
early age to
adult, and about
two or three as
a couple, is the
trend. Next the
Wedding Album
and any other
selection of
photographs can
be transferred to
video, this is
complemented
with music
selected from
your wedding
video.
We realised the
potential
advantage for
distant Guests
wishing to view
the photos, and
the risk of
parting
with your
Wedding album,
ask for details
and prices for
this service.
TERMS OF
BUSINESS
A deposit of £40
is required at
the time of
booking, and will
be deducted
from the final
account.
The purpose of
the deposit is to
secure our
services for that
particular date,
and is therefore
not returnable
in the event of a
cancellation.
A Wedding
Invitation Card or
copy is required
to obtain the
correct details,
and as a final
confirmation of
the
date. Make sure
you have
obtained
permission for a
video in church,
as some Vicars
are against this
trend,
and others also
charge more
than a token fee
for this privilege.
Lastly to prevent
rumbling tummy
noises
during the
speeches, feed
your video
operator a small
plate of
sandwiches.
